I liked the reminder that God hears all of our prayers no matter where we are praying!
I found it interesting in our reading how no noise was heard from chisels at the building site of the temple - my study Bible was saying because the use of iron on rock was closely associated with pegan practices. (I think we read that some place else before, too).
And just in case you were wondering, like I was, the month of Ziv is the second month...so do people still use Ziv and Bul instead of February and August?!

The Jewish months are different from our 12-month calendar.
