I learned in the Devotional book that whatever temptation we face, has already been faced by someone else already and that God promises that no matter what the temptation is, He will provide a way for us to resist it. Wow, that is such a powerful and caring God we have! He wants to help us with our daily struggles - we just need to focus on him more! I found it interesting to that the more we focus on a temptation, the harder it becomes to resist it.
Within 10 verses of our Bible reading, twice it talks about how Ezra was well versed in the Law of Moses and how he devoted himself to the study and observance of the Law and this resulted in him having the hand of God on him. Again, another reason why it was so important for us to be studying our Bibles!
