"But Noah concerned himself more with God's opinion of him than with the opinions of those around him". What a wonderful reminder that only God's opinion of us really matters! I know I have caught myself worrying about what other people think on many different things : how I'm raising my kids; do others think my kids behave well enough around others; is my house clean enough; am I spending enough quality time with my family; am I a good mom, wife, friend...
Again, I'm struggling through the Bible reading - all the clans of this family and that family and where everyone is suppose to set up camp and who does what...I read through it, but couldn't really keep it all straight! What I took away from the reading though was God does really take care of every detail for us! We just have to listen!
I haven’t read the book yet today but I got thought the Bible reading and also get all mix up and can’t keep anything straight. When I am reading I think that I am the same thing over again and have to stop and look where I am at and what I just read.
I'm glad to hear you say that Laura! I was feeling the same way! I know I'm tired this morning and typically it makes it harder for me to stay focused on where I was reading...I was for sure my mind was playing tricks on me only to realize that it was just repeating what was already written! :-)
