Acts 16:18 -- my study Bible says "the truth coming through the wrong source or delivered inappropriately can lose its effectiveness...let us hope that we are always effect in our approach - with our children, our spouses and our family and friends.
I wrote this down when I was reading awhile back and don't recall what I was referring to - but this is what I wrote...Sometimes it teaks an "earthquake" to wake us up and realize our relationship with Christ.
Acts 17:16 == Paul was distressed to see the city full of idols...made me think about all the "idols" that are keeping me from my relationship with God. If God were to walk through my house would he too be distressed that I was spending time with "idols" (TV, internet, facebook...) instead of with Him?
