Acts 4:32 I liked how this verse said that all the believers where in one heart and one mind and that no one claimed any of his possessions for himself but they shared everything they had.
Here are some comments I had about the Devotional book readings on wk 37:
We need to help those in need without having to have moral or religious motivations to stop and help - just like the Good Samaritan stopped to help.
Faith and obedience are heart matters...we can seem to have everything together, like the priest and Levite, but not have our hearts engaged in the process. If their hearts where involved, they would have responded with love and compassion. Think about the things we do - are we having a heart issue that needs mending?
The love of stuff lures people away from dependence on God lone more quickly than almost anything else. Think about even the stuff we have cluttering our homes and how that weighs so many of us done? Free your life of clutter and STUFF so we can focus on the more important things!
