It is so amazing how patient God is with all of us! He took 3 different times to get Balaam's attention to know that He was there and had a job for him to do! I also liked Balaam's second oracle where it said "God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?" It is a great reminder on God's character! Also it goes on to say "No misfortune is seen in Jacob, no misery observed in Israel. The Lord their God is with them". What a powerful God we serve!
