Luke 24:25 -- how many times is this the case for us?
"How foolish you are, and how slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken!"
I thought the study notes captures how much Jesus truly loves and cares for us when he was pressing Peter three times for an answer (John 21:15-17). It says The repeated questions were for Peter's benefit, not to reassure Jesus of Peter's loyalty. Jesus was helping Peter overcome his own doubts about his love for Christ.
Also, found it amazing vs 21:25 - "Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written". And to think, Jesus was not that long on this earth?
