here are my notes I took while reading...I was impressed that Daniel spoke knew the importance of speaking to Arioch with wisdom and tact - something that we know comes only from God. Also, I picked up on the importance of having friends that you can trust and lean on for support - when Daniel faced trouble, he went to his friends and urged them to plead to God for his mercy.
And how trusting of God when "Rack, Shack and Benny" said how they didn't need to "defend ourselves before you in this matter" (Daniel 3:16)
Lastly, of all places to come face to face with God, but in a fire furnace!
