Great! I'm going to have the song "For Unto Us a Child is Born..." going through my head all day! Not that is a bad thing, but man, that song really gets stuck in my head!!! :-)

Could not resist commenting on Isa.6, I wrote a paper on it some years ago. God tells Isaiah "be hearing but never understanding, be ever seeing but never perceiving, make the hearts of the people calloused... and close their eyes, otherwise they might see and hear and turn and be healed..." At first it seems as if God is WANTING to close their eyes and ears. It is exactly what He is saying. The scholars have been struggling with these texts and there are volumes written on them. The conclusion is that God does close our eyes and ears as cruel as it seems but it happens only as a result of OUR refusal to open the eyes and see and open the ears and hear. A powerful confirmation of this is in Mark 4:12 wich is right after the parable of the sower. I just hope that we will be always willing to listen to His voice and see Him. Hope you are having a good "hearing Him" and "seeing Him" day! :)
